Clases de Sevillanas

The dance of sevillanas is characterized by its grace, liveliness, agility and flexibility, although in recent years it’s become a bit slower.This is a couple dance, for a man and woman or two women.At the popular level it’s danced in a series of four verses, each with a different set of steps, with a brief interval between one verse and another.
Each verse is differentiated by its corresponding choreography known as first, second, third and fourth. The most characteristic movements are the paseíllos, pasadas, careos and remate.On the last measure of music, the voice and dance end together, and the dancers strike a characteristic pose.
